Fantasy Football Focus: Week 14

It's playoff time...for some.

James LeBeauby James LeBeau

The following is a message for those of you that did not make your leagues playoffs this season. Don't stop paying attention to who produces because info you get today can be used to help you next season. Always think ahead, that should be the motto of every FF owner and that doesn't stop if you don't advance to the next round. So lick your wounds and shrug off the anger because next year is a new year and for all anyone knows, it could very well be your year…with a little work and preperation.

Start of the Week: C.J. Spiller, RB, BUF (vs SD)

CJ Spiller filled in nicely for Fred Davis last week and posted some very productive numbers in the Bills loss to the Titans. That should spill (pun intended) into this weeks game against the Chargers as Well. San Diego has been vulnerable to the run, allowing opposing teams rushers either a touchdown or 100 total yards. That should add up to a nice outing for CJ.

Last Weeks Results: Eli Manning, NYG (vs GB) 27 points

Top 5 Starts

  • Carson Palmer, QB OAK (at GB)
  • Shonn Greene, RB, NYJ (vs KC)
  • Percy Harvin, WR, MIN (at DET)
  • Steve Johnson, WR, BUF (vs SD)
  • Vernon Davis, TE, SF (at ARI)

Sit of the Week:  Andy Dalton, QB, CIN (vs HOU)

The Houston Texans defense has emerged almost out of nowhere to become an elite unit this season. They have faced a number of elite QB's this year and only Drew Brees has lit them up for over 20 fantasy points. With the way they are playing grind it out football on offense, the D should always be rested and ready to go, making it a long day for Dalton and the Bengals.
