The BCS National Championship is set. SEC rivals LSU and Alabama will face off for the 2nd time this season on January 9th in New Orleans with everything up for grabs. It's the 2nd time in 3 years Bama will play for the championship, and with LSU defeating Georgia for the SEC crown last Saturday, it could mean that with a Bama win, a BCS champion will be awarded to a team that didn't even win their conference.

Michigan will face off against Virginia Tech in the Sugar bowl, Clemson plays West Virginia in the Orange bowl and Oregon and Wisconsin will be heading to Pasadena to collide in the Rose bowl.

Tiger Woods rallied on Sunday to win the Chevron World Challenge in Thousand Oaks, California. Woods defeated Masters Champion Zach Johnson by one shot, and ended his drought of more than two years without a win, which includes 26 tournaments. Maybe the real Tiger is back??Is he relieved?? Woods said 'it just feels awesome, whatever it is."

And cross one of baseball's major free-agents off the board. The Florida Marlins made their predictable big move on Sunday by signing now former Met's shortstop Jose Reyes to a deal over six years that's worth around 106 million buckaroos. Reyes, who is 28, is coming off a year in which he won the batting title, slapping a .337 average. The move does mean however that current Marlins shortstop, Hanley Ramirez  will have to move on over to third base. Come this spring, watch out for the fish!

Baseball's winter meetings will be held in Dallas this week. Expectations are that the meetings will display the largest number of trades in the past decade, but also, All eyes will be glued to see where Albert Pujols and Prince Fielder end up.

The 49ers clinch the NFC West and head to the playoffs for the first time since 2002 and the Packers are still perfect, going 12-0 with a win over New York.
