The HBO fantasy series "Game of Thrones" has been gaining momentum and attracting a larger audience through its first three episodes. And now with the next episode, "Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things” just days away, the network has released a brief synopsis of what we can expect.
Ned (Sean Bean) looks to a book for clues to the death of his predecessor, and uncovers one of King Robert’s (Mark Addy) bastards. Robert and his guests witness a tournament honoring Ned. Jon (Kit Harington) takes measures to protect Samwell (John Bradley) from further abuse at Castle Black; a frustrated Viserys (Harry Lloyd) clashes with Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) in Vaes Dothrak; Sansa (Sophie Turner) imagines her future as a queen, while Arya (Maisie Williams) envisions a far different future. Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) rallies her husband’s allies to make a point, while Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) finds himself caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
HBO has also released a preview clip from the next episode, in which Tyrion gets a decidedly unfriendly welcome back at Winterfell from Ned's ward, Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen)
"Game of Thrones” airs this Sunday at 9PM exclusively on HBO!
