Uncharted 3 Will Be ‘Go-to Game for PS3 Multiplayer’

Naughty Dog is aiming for the throat of their multiplayer competitors.

Uncharted 2 was an incredible game with an exceptional multiplayer component. Being the go-getters they are, Naughty Dog believes they can do better with their third Uncharted offering.

While speaking with GamePro, Naughty Dog admitted that Uncharted 2’s multiplayer could have been much better if they were given more time to perfect it. So for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Naughty Dog is drawing inspiration from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption to make their offering the “go-to game for PS3 multiplayer.”

Naughty Dog also told the magazine that one thing they learned through all their multiplayer testing is that damage and health in multiplayer should be “the same or similar to single player.” What exactly that means is anyone’s guess. But if it’s as literal as it sounds, then everyone in multiplayer is going to be damn near invincible in Uncharted 3. Because as we’ve seen before, Nathan Drake can take a lot of shots to the face (that's what she said).
