Hard Summer 2017 celebrates its 10th year anniversary with a line-up that is anything but soft. The two-day blowout at the Glen Helen Amphitheater & Regional Park in Southern California (new location) will be headlined by DJ Snake and Justice (DJ set) on Saturday, August 5 and Snoop Dogg, Dog Blood (superstar DJ team-up of Skrillex and Boys Noize) and Bassnectar on Sunday, August 6.
Although Hard Summer 2017 stays true to its roots with a wide-range of electronic acts (Zeds Dead, Jai Wolf, Cashmere Cat, A-Track), highlighted by Dog Blood’s first show since 2015, the Gary Richards-curated festival (check out his alter ego Destructo’s Hard Summer 2017 playlist below) continues its recent trend in opening up its PLUR arms to hip-hop.
Migos, Rae Sremmurd, and Ty Dolla $ign, top line a heavyweight hip hop card with a main event featuring Snoop Dogg performing his seminal album Doggystyle.
