Nora Arnezeder is a French actress, singer and model probably best known for her roles in “Safe House” and “Maniac.” She is not active on social media.
Her father is Austrian and Catholic, while her mother is Egyptian and Jewish. She grew up with a lot of music in her house: “Asian music, jazz music, classical music, Indian music, a lot of foreign music.” An interview described her parents as hippies. Nora Arnezeder stays grounded, she said, because when she used to yell her father would tell her, “Oh, the atarrrr!”
Nora Arnezeder was born in France, and lived there until she was two. Then she moved to Aix-en-Provence, 500 miles south of Paris. She stayed there until she was 14, when she moved to Bali, Indonesia for a year. Once she returned, she took up dancing and singing.

Her first big role was in 2008 for the film “Paris 36.” She also sang “Loin de Paname,” which was nominated for Best Original Song at the 82nd Academy Awards. Her idols include Woody Allen and Quincy Jones.
Nora Arnezeder said she is at the stage where she is writing songs at home with her guitar. “I confess that I found terrifying the snowball effect of the media. Once, I gave an interview and reading the article, I realized there was a release date for the album It’s crazy, right? It will come when it will," (translated).
Nora Arnezeder said in an interview in 2009 that “I was really in love with Aladdin. I wanted to meet him one day, but I realized that I never would, so I was really disappointed.” She did go to Disneyland Paris. “I love it, and I like to watch old Walt Disney movies, and I’m always crying.”
Nora Arnezeder would also love to voice an animated character in a film. About entertainment, she said, “Not sure this is a business. I prefer to see it as a passion to which I give myself.” As for her role in “Safe House,” she said, “One day, if I have kids, I can tell them I did a movie with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. It’s an honor.” She added, “It was my first American movie and I wanted to do well, especially because it was in English.”
She has also appeared in French films that most Americans have probably never heard of, let alone seen. She tested for David Fincher’s “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,” but didn’t make the final cut. She said she’s never done anything crazy to land a role. “I work and play low profile” (translated from infrarouge.fr).
When asked what the Devil would ask her if she went to Hell, she said, “Sorry but we have very few places, you’re reassigned.”
She said if she weren’t an actress or singer she would be a sports coach, psychologist or psycho. Nora Arnezeder is married and resides in France.
