Lindsay Clubine, who now goes by Lindsay Clubine Buchholz, is an American model and wife to MLB pitcher Clay Buchholz. She was born on January 7th, 1983 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Though born in Kansas City, Lindsay grew up in the very small town of Camden, Missouri. She is one of three sisters. Growing up, Lindsay learned to love the outdoors and adventure. Her father is responsible for teaching her to shoot archery, fish, hunt, ride horse and play sports, all of which she loves.
In high school, Lindsay tried to participate in every activity she could. Most notably, she loved competitive softball, and was a pitcher throughout her teen years. But like many small-town girls, Lindsay wanted to get out and see the world.
She began her modeling career in Kansas City. Lindsay had always loved being in front of a camera, and growing up, her mother would call her a “ham” because of it. It wasn’t long into her modeling career that Lindsay was discovered by the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency. They wanted her on the pages of swimwear catalogues and magazines pronto, so they sent her off to Miami, Florida to get he ball rolling. Soon she was not only modeling, but appearing in high-profile music videos as well.
