Bar Paly (Barbara Phaly) is a model and actress. She was born in Ural, Russia to parents Alexander Paly and Olga Drob. However, she was raised in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Paly was born in Russia but moved to Israel when she was seven where she was raised in Tel Aviv.
Bar began modeling when she was young. By age 17, she had already been signed by one modeling agency in Israel. This, however, did not stop her from moving to Milan and getting signed by a second modeling agency there.

In 2003, She began her career as an actress. Bar Paly got her start in acting with several small roles. Here in the U.S., she played parts on several TV series such as “CSI: NY,” “The Starter Wife” and “How I Met Your Mother" and the 2008 horrow film The Ruins, which was the same year she did a photoshoot for a spread in Maxim magazine. Both ventures put her on the map in very different ways, as an actress and model.
Bar Paly has acted in commercials for Bud Light, Dentyne Pure and Bridgestone Tires, to name a few. The latter was aired during the Super Bowl in 2010.
In 2012, not only did Bar Paly star in Roman Coppola’s “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III” alongside Charlie Sheen and Jason Schwartzman, but she was also cast in Michael Bay’s new film Pain and Gain.
In 2013 she appeared as Sorina Luminita in Pain and Gain alongside Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson. She had to gain 20 pounds for the role, drinking 5,000 calories shakes. The film was full of skimpy outifts. About her character, Paly said: "She is the girl who wears everything a little too tight, too short, too inappropriate for the occasion... She uses her sexuality as a tool... it's the only thing she knows." (dailymail.co.uk)
Along with modeling and acting, Bar Paly particularly enjoys playing paintball. In fact, she visits Paintball USA in Santa Clarita, CA for a game any chance she gets.
