April Vaughan is a Glamour and Magazine model that, because of her adventurous outlook and tough yet sexy look, appears mostly in ads for action sports products and magazines in her native Australia.
She's been described as "down to earth " and has an "outgoing personality" that she credits with her national and international success in the last two years. Vaughan describes herself as a Tomboy and says that that persona has made her easier to work with than other models that may take themselves too seriously. (Aprilvaughanmodel.com)
In typical Australian fashion Vaughan also loves her sports. She competed in State level Australian Rules Football in the AFL and also played Indoor Volleyball at the Queensland Academy of Sport. Her "hold nothing back attitude" is also what made her a Monster Energy Drink calendar girl for their 2012 Australian Edition. She told Monster that she's jumped out of planes and swam with sharks and once even hooked up with a guy on a boat during a storm. She described it as "mmm, Amazing." (Monsterenergy.com)

Though she's not shy about showing her body off, Vaughan says she's has never appeared nude and also models for Nena and Pasadena clothing line. Her likeness also appears on many of the alt/thrasher style shirts.
Vaughan has appeared on the cover of Zoo Weekly and was also the winner of the Miss Australia 2011 Queensland regional. Following the Queensland regional she went on to compete in the finals at Fiji. She says that making it as far as she did in the competition was one of the greatest honors of her young modeling career.
Sports Illustrated (America) named her Lovely Lady Of The Day this past May and as if 2012 wasn't a big enough year Vaughan is hoping to continue her feverish ascent in the modeling world with being chosen as one of the five SP Tool's Racing V8 models. She travels with the team to events and conventions happily representing her brand. She just completed a shoot with V8 Action Illustrated.
Vaughan has embraced Facebook just as much, if not more, than any model working today. She regularly posts videos of her gigs and behind-the-scenes pics of her shoots. She reaches out to fans sharing photos that they've appeared in and also takes the time to pick a Fan of the Week, who then receives a personalized photo of the model.
On her timeline she revealed that she currently is trying out for the UK version of "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here," where she hopes to be one of the lucky (?) few thrown into the middle of the jungle and video taped for the popular survival series.
